www.teenstrings.com is the online home of Teen Strings magazine, which was founded in 2005 by the publishers of Strings magazine. Teen Strings, created in conjunction with the American Strings Teachers Association, is a quarterly for string players, ages 11-18. Teen Strings is a useful tool for both students and string teachers and includes articles on young players and school string programs, as well as practical advice on technique, performance, and instrument care written specifically for this unique audience.
Teen Strings is published by String Letter Publishing, established in 1985, and headquartered in San Rafael, California. String Letter Publishing also publishes Strings; Acoustic Guitar, the magazine for all acoustic guitar players; Play Guitar!, for beginning and developing guitarists; and Guitar Teacher, the quarterly newsletter for acoustic guitar teachers; as well as instructional and reference books for musicians, including The Violin Owner's Manual, Private Lesson Books and Backstage Books.
